It never ceases to amaze me when I encounter an 'economy' HVAC ductwork installation.......
The most recent was in a 1970's home with all-metal ductwork in the crawl space.

Hunts Point is truly an idyllic community - from its leisurely beginnings until this very day - a one of a kind haven. Leigh Hunt, who was an early 1870’s resident of neighboring Yarrow Point, purchased Hunts Point in order to cut some trees impeding his view. Years later, a Seattle group found the site delightful for leisure time picnics and summer camping and subsequently acquired the point.
Issaquah Highlands is a planned community and mixed-use neighborhood in Issaquah, a suburb of Seattle, Washington, United States. First settled in 1882, a 160-acre tract was claimed by Patrick Downey. He logged his homestead, then farmed the land and eventually in 1894, subdivided eighty acres on the north side of his claim. Being further inland than the surrounding waterfront communities of Medina, Hunts Point and Yarrow Point, Clyde Hill was slower to be populated and remained in farming use longer.

Announcing........The 6th Annual Rodent Awareness Week, October 20 - 26, 2019 (Be there or be Square)
So according to the Professional Pest Management Alliance, recent research from January, 2018 to July, 2019,
With a current population of about 6,900, the City marks the area originally homesteaded in 1871 by logger James Duvall. The Snoqualmie River was their supply line to Seattle and mail was held in the beginnings of the town of Monroe.
In 1908, the grand plan for the Beaux Arts Community was to establish an arboreal enclave for artists. As time passed, physicians and surgeons, upper management folks, lawyers and financial executives eventually outnumbered and displaced the artists. However, current residents appreciate living like the founders did --- enjoying the peace and tranquility of nature in a setting that is all too rare today.
Here's a summary of the situation...........
It seems that in the 1930s a beetle was devouring Australian sugar cane crops, so a successful effort was made in 1935 to import some 102 poisonous South American cane toads to eat the beetles. And you guessed......they didn't eat the beetles.........and these toads have multiplied to exceed 1.5 billion across the continent, and are killing all sorts of other animals via the poison in their skin.
